Snyder Memorial Beach Bash October 20th – 21st, 2007 Entry Fees: Adult- Pre-register before Oct. 15 $30 Registration after Oct. 15 or day of Youth under 16- Pre-register before Oct. 15 $10 Registration after Oct. 15 or day of $15 Family Registration- Pre-register before Oct. 15 $50 (Immediate family only) Registration after Oct. 15 or day of $65 RULES AND REGULATIONS (Rules subject to change) Registration will take place at Grumpy’s Bait and tackle in Sea side at 6:30am until 9:00am on Saturday Oct. 20th. (Tournament contestants can preregister anytime before 5pm Oct. 15th) If you cannot make registration you may call me and meet me or one of the tournament organizers to register before 5pm Oct 20th. Your cooler will be checked!!! Tourney rules: (Adult) Tournament fishing will begin at 7 am October 20th and all fish must be present at final weigh in by 10 am October 21st. Fish may be weighed in anytime at either Grumpy’s or Fisherman’ s headquarters in LBI and registered per person. Only two fish per person will be counted towards tournament weight. There WILL BE NO CULLING SMALLER FISH. Once a fish is weighed, it will count towards your total. Fish included are: Striped bass, Blue fish, and Grey Trout/Weakie, Red Drum and Black Drum. (NJ regulations apply.) (Youth) Tournament fishing will begin at 7 am October 20th and all fish must be presented by final weigh in by 4PM October 20th. (NJ regulations apply.) Youth fisherman can participate in the adult division if desired but not both. If a youth chooses to participate in the Saturday awards they forfeit the rights to the adult prizes regardless of their placement in the prior day. Contestants do not have to be present at the awards ceremony to receive prizes, but a picture of the fish on the scale will be appreciated, and displayed in your absence. An appropriate weigh in form needs to be validated by a shop employee or tournament organizer to count towards the tournament. All registered contestants may begin fishing any time after 7am Oct. 20th BOUNDARYS: Tournament boundaries will include the beaches, sod banks, jetties, piers and bridges from: Rout 37 entering Seaside Heights as the northern boundary to the southern tip of Long Beach Island to the south. 300 yards off the beach to the East and up to 200 yards inland from the ICW to the West. No flotation device will be acceptable…NO Yaks not even to just drop your bait out far. IGFA rules will apply. (Two rods per person to be actively fishing at any time). Anyone not following rules will be disqualified at their own expense. Calcutta: (There will also be an optional, big fish, Calcutta for $10 a person. Monies will be split, 50% will go to the winner and 50% will go to the KJS Cancer Research Fund. Contestants must pay for Calcutta prior to 10am Nov 18th or at time of late registration) |
